My Mom had been planning on a very special gift for Anna for a couple of months. She made Anna a baptism quilt! It is adorable and so amazing. It has so many special things made just for Anna. She gave it to her just after her birthday and gave her a special card. She talked to Anna about our family and how much she wanted to do this for her. She talked to Anna all about the special fabric choices and everyone who helped make the quit for her. My Dad helped pick out colors and fabric and my amazing big sister Suzanne helped my Mom. She is so talented in quilt making. (She must get from my Mom) Then my Mom explained about the Holy Ghost and how it can comfort you just like a big quilt. It was so fun to watch Anna's face and to watch my Mom give her this gift. I am forever grateful for parents who love and support me and my family. I am so blessed! Anna loves her quilt. She uses it every chance she can get. She will have more opportunity as fall and winter come, but for now she looks for any chance just to use it. Thanks Mom. I love you.

Isn't it so fun! The quilt is so cute. My mom has made all of the grandkids a quilt and they all love it. Caleb's turned out great and he is just like Anna and uses it even though it is blistering hot outside!
that's such a good idea-- but will your mom be able to keep that up? how many grandkids does she have now? such a nice tradition to start.
